Transit Set
Transit sets define a collection of movements between locations. Transit sets are typically included in a model through transit generators directly or through a data upload which is then, again, referenced through a transit generator.
Schema definition
message TransitSet {
repeated TransitValue transits = 1;
}
Fields
- transits
- A list of transit values. A transit value defines a dimensional quantity between an origin and destination pair. The pairs are directed. Duplicates pairs within a collection is considered an input error.
Examples
The following sample illustrates a custom time matrix:
transitSet {
transits {
fromId: "A"
toId: "B"
value: 26.8884
}
...
transits {
fromId: "B"
toId: "C"
value: 10.6725
}
transits {
fromId: "B"
toId: "A"
value: 93.9055
}
}
Transit Value
A transit value defines the value for movement between a pair of locations.
Schema definition
message TransitValue {
required string fromId = 1;
required string toId = 2;
required float value = 3;
}
Fields
- fromId
- The location identifier for the origin of the pair.
- toId
- The location identifier for the destination of the pair.
- value
- The value corresponding to the pair.
Examples
fromId: "Dublin Central"
toId: "Temple Bar"
value: 12.68
