The Icepack Vehicle Router
The Icepack Vehicle Router gives you a modular approach to building models. There are two schemas covered by the IVR: ivr7-kt461v8eoaif and ivr8-yni1c9k2swof. The IVR7 schema is a subset of IVR8 and is the right place to get started. The IVR series of models provide a high degree of customisation for several vehicle-routing use cases.
Dimension
Distance, Time and Capacity are all just dimensions.

Window
A defined interval within which things should happen.
Geocode
X marks the spot.
Location
Locations are where things happen in the schedule. Locations are defined independently of the work to be performed.
Task
The transaction that describes a unit of work in the schedule.
Job
A job describes a collection of tasks which need to be performed in a schedule.
Vehicle
Vehicles are the active resource being scheduled and aim to perform the tasks in the most efficient way.

Vehicle Class
Describes how vehicles move in the network.

Vehicle Cost Class
How collections of similar vehicles should be costed based on their activities.

Transit Set
Custom movement descriptions for a dimension.

Transit Generator
Custom movement descriptions for a dimension.

Compartment
Modelling areas of a vehicle which have additional side constraints.

Compartment Set
Collections of compartments.

Task Sequence
A sequence of tasks per vehicle which the engine should evaluate or use as a starting point in an optimisation routine.
Transit rules
Useful for modelling fatigue breaks or activities which are conditional on the cumulative value of a dimension.

Model
Puts it all together to define a stand-alone instance to be solved.
